Shawn is using the bucket seat style of the exerciser in this video, made in 1988 He is demonstrating the various exercises that he does in the exerciser. .  His mother raises and lowers him using the attached pulley system to make the job easier.  Shawn is from Michigan, and has cerebral palsy.  Maribelle Exerciser Assist System (MEAS) is now called Merry Muscles Therapeutic Exerciser.
